The Portland location is still open. Granted NW Davis is not quite as pretty as Kauai.

I live on Kauai, it’s not temporary. It was a financial set back. The price for rent they asked for that location was insane. They are closed for good. I spoke with one of the owners, and she hopes to one day try again. It’s a bummer for me cause I live less than 5 min. from the Blossoming Lotus

I have bad news for you…Blossoming Lotus is closing for good this week. I do not know the reasons…I live in California but used to live in Kauai so check the Kauai paper online from time to time.
Blossoming Lotus was a wonderful restaurant; I can only deduce that it was a money thing…grew too large, too much risk, and tourism is way down on Kauai. It is a loss.

Amazing - I often tell my friends that I might go to Hawaii and become an organic farmer. Maybe someday I can make that a reality
