What to do on vacation in Kauai?

Going for 10 day honeymoon. Both young and active. Any ideas?
Going in October, been to big island, Maui, Oahu and liked them. I thought my wife booked a hotel in Oahu actually, turned out she booked Kauai based on recommendations from her friends. Not sure what to do there, seems kinda low key.

Island hop – visit Maui and the Big Island.
Kauai is great to drive to the Northern Beach, and good restaurants but not much else in my opinion. Check out tripadvisor for additional details.
Not sure what time of year as it is low season now.
